Notes

The records from temperature stations in Nepal for the period 1971-94 show a warming trend of between 0.06°C and 0.12°C per year across most of the Middle Mountain and Himalayan region. The Siwalik and Terai show a slower warming trend of 0.03°C per year. Higher elevation regions are showing higher rates of warming compared to slower warming or even cooling in more Southern regions.
